On the little computer generated ‘ hair development graph’ you can clearly see the harsh development from full black and shiny locks to Zero. This is not an uncommon sight on the streets of Thailand as many a young boy decides to do mommy a favor and spent the obligatory somewhat 15 days in a temple of their choice ( since its Thailand you can go for many kinds of temples, jungle, city, hi so, poor people, etc.) For many guys the dramatic change from lots of hair to virtually none can give them just about the right edge to reveal the hidden beauty , for some of them that happens mid growth when everything is halfway back and the distinctive Japanese eyebrow style comes up….for some people it doesn’t really work out though. I am full of hope that his former pretty hair will make a big come back, yeah shortish suits him well, makes him more adult and manly, but the shaved cut isn’t really his deal. Gosh i look like a neanderthal with short hair trust me, I’ve been there, I’ve done that, I had blue hair and kind cheap orangy yellow too, hair makes the man and can improve the hotness factor way up..
bad tongues are whispering that he’s actually balding or like thinning all over, let’s hope they are wrong!!
Gosh were did all that time go and damn what have i been doing? – not really blogging that’s for sure. but people out there watch out, i’m back and i’m in top shape. a new layout to mark this ( sorry i didn’t use mario m as my illustration i rather went for a rojam….btw. if u wanna steal this i made it and i hold the copyright and i’ll have no mercy=D)
It’s a pleasure to see that Mario Maurer is still so highly in demand, voices all around thailand are whispering that he’s practically dead in the media world. Of course there are always new faces..take Nadej or Kao amazing but then again we heart Mario.
ps. it’s fashion week again and i might go out there and catch some of Bangkoks finest.
A new magazine, an old story…today 21st of March 2011 Attitude Magazine celebrates its conquering of the thai homeland…If you thought Bangkok couldn’t possibly be gayer than it already is….think again.
the Renaissance hotel ballroom was turned into a maze of hot guys and more or less gay decoration. a bit darkroom here a bit boudoir there…well it’s gay i guess.
the models were quite a catch the drinks rather weak and the talking unbearable….
but yaay as long as there is a hot guy to stare down what can one possibly complain about, one surprise was that the cover models James “Kitkasem” McFadden & Natcha “Mouse” Jantapan” minus Tony Rakkaeny ( if u need a haircut check out his salon in fancy gloriana K-village ) were all there and so was – bangkok love story/ body building beau – TOP..(Chaiwat Tongsaeng)
we bangkokians know that there will always be another event next week but this one surely hit the queerness barometer to the max. check out the magazine if your good at reading thai in the local magazine stall around your house or if your more of a hiso personality flick through it in villa, they have it as well. my bb is dying and the pictures suck, sorry about that, if you want better pics send me a camera 😀
Pengi’s fotoexhibition in wtf sukhumvit 51 was the perfect moment to get a snapshot of high end handsome thai actor and model ‘ooh’ mario maurer.( here with tobias from new comer label konrath von reumont).. Tanaboon peng is a nightlife photographer and can usually be found at any cool event and party in bangkok. Dudesweet parties are amongst his favs and mine too..
Keep on dancing
shinee is without a doubt the most fashion oriented K pop boy band at this point. While most singers are being dressed in more or less show costumes, the shinee stylist manages to achieve a more fashion and street wear style that could possibly be worn to go out clubbing as well, in most cases not in all though…I think the feathers in ring ding dong went a wee bit too far and were a tick too drag. but the unconquered styling for the romeo mini-album and the Juliette clip are still a highlight and one of my personal inspirations. The perfect mix of street, fluo, pastel, fun and ethnic is just amazing and has a direct link to European club style, i.E. the fluo kids in France , tectonic, cassette playa from London. This style and many others evolved out of a ping pong inspiration system where European designers get inspired by Asia ( especially Japan) and Asian designers get the other way around inspired by the Europeans. sounds fun? It sure is….nowadays basically every french fashion House does the ‘obligatory” japan trip for inspiration and then sell the stuff back to the Japanese and Korean and lately Chinese customers…heehaw back too Shinee though
