a love to kill n°8

(c)lick the pic to get to the vid, read below for more interesting details abou RAIN and  him not having plastic surgery:)

The one major, well-known celebrity who has not had any surgery is one of Asia’s most popular current singers and actor Rain, who looks traditionally Korean yet is still rapidly gaining an international fanbase. Rain admitted in a CNN interview that he was actually rejected from several initial auditions for being “too ugly,” and for not having double-eyelids.  It is said that he has not had any plastic surgery, which does not seem to have hindered his fame — he was named one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People Who Shape Our World.”

PI RAIN BI RAIN ….a love to kill 6th episode

i recently read on the internet, while doing my plastic surgery researches, that rain (jung ji hoon) has traditional korean looks (gosh if that’s traditional shoot me dead) Apparently he struggled a bit getting jobs in the entertainment industry, since he has no double eyelid, isn’t that completly crazy? rain is a fine example for a perfectly gorgeous korean boy… I don’t know if his looks are traditional, or is beauty tradition in korea? he doesn’t look western at all and that’s the good thing about him:)

enjoy the episode of a love to kill….

yesstyle.com online shopping in asia…

my neigbour and friend showed me this cool hongkong(?) shopping portal on the internet( he already bought some clothes there so we can be sure it works)…u know koreans are known to have really cool clothes and now there’s a easy way to buy them  from where ever u live, the prices are quite modest, but sometimes the products are a little bit copy cat…….i personally really like the jbros stuff all the pictures below are from this brand ( they say that some products are sourced from somewhere else) means they sell other things as well, some products look quite marc jacobs other ( the bagpack) very much raf simons, i dunno if it’s the real thing or just ‘european inspired’……what ever especially with the low dollar at the moment the prices in € are ridiculously  low, almost H&M level, but the stuff way cooler and more unique!

go and have a look www.yesstyle.com and of course there’s loads for the ladies as well 🙂

the asian movie beauty factor

recently my best friend, who grew up in germany but has vietnamese roots told me that she googled a bit around and was suprised to fid out that all the hong kong actresses she used to like from movies of her youth appear to have been beauty queens before they started in the film industry.and not only hong kong i think…

in germany  or europe in general it’s not really like this, actors are often chosen to be characters, not just plain beauty, so usually they give a good impression about normal people…of course they are good looking but hardly ever can they reach beauty queen status…..asian cinema therefore can trick europeans into thinking that everybody looks like the film stars,,,which is of course not true…my other friend says it’s the classic star thing that happens in asia, only the most beautiful and tallest and most handsome people can become famous…like it used to be in hollywood maybe, stars were stars, not just the boy or girl next door… therfore movie stars in thailand or korea or japan are usually also models and have big endorsement deals…and very often they are just half asians or a mix of different origins…..are europeans better looking? or or brings the european blood the asian beauty to full perfection? i would say the latter comes close to the truth. asian softness with a european edge, especially for boys….

just some random thoughts of mine b
