I told you I’d be coming back to the topic of Thai School uniforms… Why? because in Germany (yes very farang indeed, that’s where I come from) we don’t have School uniforms and since you always want what you don’t have ( take Asian people with straight hair, dying for curls, take me with curly hair, dying for lean and smooth straight hair) people tend to look jealously at what they ever wanted, but can’t get….all right, so the most peculiar thing about the school uniforms is, that’s just for boys, sorry girls, that they have very short pants, coming in all shades of blue. My mostly admired shade is the super bright blue combined with a kind Hermes style brown belt, with a cool Thai ornamental buckle. The shirts are in a light blue or white with short sleeves and your name embroidered on to it…( They are not very expensive and next time i’m in BKK I’ll get one, here in europe they have a really cute say Miu Miu appeal, when worn in the Summertime)
For the girls it’s a little bit less spectacular, they get saggy skirts that are way too long and a white blouse…
My funniest story about those uniforms is a strange encounter on the platform between Siam Paragon and Siam Center. A little group of Lady (school) boys were hanging out wearing their uniforms in combination with high-heels, designer handbags and wigs. Now don’t get me wrong the sight was too weird and one of them awfully overweight…well well as usual I found some cute pictures of Mario in full school uniform, but this time it’s from ‘the love of Siam ’ therefore it’s not his name on the shirt…If you want to show off a bit you can print out the autograph, trace the signature neatly with a marker pen and pretend it’s a real one, that’s what I do works faboulusly…

i don’t know, i guess it was just a merchandise article back when the film was in the theaters but now it’s already on dvd so kind of late huh
I heard there are schooluniforms for boys wearing a brown coloured cute combination of shoes/socks, with lilac coloured shirts (dress-shirts). you know waht I mean?
itz kinda creepy how u wana buy a thai skool uniform.. and y’know our girlz skool uni isnt dat bad, itz realy up 2 the school ur in!! nd the boyz dnt actualy wear super short trousers! Do u actualy know ANYTHING about Thailand?? R u lyk white or sumthing??
haha, i know it depends on the school…but generally the boys have nicer uniforms in school and later in college the girls can wear cooler one i think, I live in thailand, what do you mean by white? white european, white chinese, white mixed thai, thai with darker skin tone, korean, japanese, mediteranean euopean with dark skin or one of the other possible skin tones? lives not black and white, na ^___^
